The Coos Bay Public Schools Teen Parent Program offer parenting and pregnant students the opportunity to continue their high school education, learn life and parenting skills and explore career options. On-site daycare is available for children 6 weeks to 6 years old. Any student who is parenting and enrolled in a Coos Bay school may have use of child care resources.  Our center’s staff is dedicated, loving, and enthusiastic. Each of our teachers brings with them vast experience working with children of all ages. They are wonderful role models for our students and their children.

Student Aides

Our daycare offers students from our adjacent high school a chance to work, play and assist in responsibilities to receive high school credit and experience working with children. This experience is designed to provide students with hands-on learning opportunities. Students interact, play and provide care for infants and toddlers under direct supervision. They integrate child development information regarding social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth while adhering to health and safety guidelines. This opportunity is beneficial for those interested in pursuing a career in childcare.

ChildDevelsmallThe vision for the center is based on the philosophy of providing an atmosphere where children and their parents have the opportunity and resources to learn and grow.  The center’s staff is trained and has criminal history registry checked through the State of Oregon.  We provide quality care for our students with an emphasis on growth and development for their children.
